Sales Advisory Board

2 mins

Eight of the greatest sales minds sit on your decision, argue it out and hand down one verdict. Every quote is real and links to the second they said it.

QUICK START
Claude Cowork already set up?
  • Copy the prompt, paste it into any Cowork chat — Claude fetches the skill, and one click on Save skill installs it. Works in Claude Code too: paste it there and it installs itself, no button needed.
  • Always the latest version, straight from the public GitHub repo — and it tells you when a new one is out.
Copy the install prompt See it work →

The full setup guide is right below. It only takes a few minutes.

Before you start

If you don't have the Claude desktop app, you'll need it first, so download it here.

(You'll also need Claude Pro, around $20.)

Part 1 · Claude Cowork setup(5 mins)
1

Install Cowork

Download the Claude desktop app and sign in on a paid plan. It has to be the desktop app, not the browser, because that is the version that can read your files and connect to your tools.

2

Open Cowork and give it a folder

Cowork is where Claude actually does work on your computer, not just chat. Get in and point it at one folder:

  • Open the desktop app and switch to Cowork, the middle of the three modes at the top.
  • Click New Task, then Work in a Project, then Choose a folder.
  • Make a fresh, empty folder (I call mine Claude Playground).

Claude only ever sees that one folder, nothing else on your computer, and it uses it to save your sittings and your data. So it stays private and tidy.

Part 2 · Sales Advisory Board setup(2 mins)
1

Install the skill

A skill is a saved set of instructions Claude follows every time. Copy this whole box, paste it into a Cowork chat, and Claude fetches the latest version and installs it for you:

  • Press Copy, then in the Claude desktop app open Cowork, start a New Task, paste, and send. (Computer, not phone. Claude Code works too: paste the same prompt there.)
  • Claude fetches the skill and shows you a file with a Save skill button — click it. That's the whole install.
  • Check it worked: click + at the bottom of the chat, then Skills. You should see it listed.

Nothing installs until you click that button, and everything the prompt fetches is public code you can read at github.com/bingley-ai/bingley-skills.

Already installed it before? The same paste updates it and keeps any customisations you've made. Prompt didn't work? Download the skill and drag the file into a Cowork chat, then click Save skill.

2

Run it

  • Open a New Task in your project folder.
  • Click + > Skills > sales-advisory-board, or just say take this to the sales board.
  • Tap one of the example problems it offers, or type your own in a sentence or two.

What you get: a boardroom opens in Live Artifacts. All eight advisers speak, they argue where they genuinely disagree, they vote, and a chair hands down the call plus the two things to do now. Every quote links straight to the moment on video, so you can watch it yourself.

Before you finish (quick checks)

How was this skill built?

Every skill ships only after planning, research, building, testing and re-testing. Here is the record for the sales advisory board.

9 stress-test rounds 21 improvements shipped 157 automated checks
PlanningPicked eight advisers with one seat each and no overlap, then fixed the shape of a sitting: every adviser speaks, they argue, they vote, a chair commits to one call.
Research & background checksBuilt a curated corpus of each adviser in their own words, timestamped to the second, from their own freely published talks plus public-domain text. A retrieval engine returns only real windows, so a quote cannot be invented.
BuildThe chair and the vote are decided by a deterministic scorer, never by the model, so the same question always seats the same chair. The model writes only the prose, inside measured word budgets that keep the verdict on one screen.
Testing & re-testingNine rounds. Retrieval and routing across 50 questions, a quote-quality probe, 20 topics drilled to exhaustion, 100 random industries with zero dead ends, five real sales problems end to end, then two hostile campaigns of 103 and 120 questions including misspellings and injection attempts, with no crashes. Every failure reproduced, fixed, then re-run.
OrganisationVersioned, with a 157-check regression suite that runs before every release, the room template kept separate from the content so the design can be swapped, and packaged clean so no dev files ship.

    Key strengths

  • Every quote is real and links to the exact second on video, so you can check it yourself.
  • Eight advisers who genuinely disagree, so you see the argument, not one confident answer.
  • No connectors and nothing running in the background. Install it and it works.
